Default How to create a mailing list using Gmail labels

Hello,

I was recently asked how to create a mailing list using Gmail labels.

I looked at gmail and even the labs features and off hand I don't see any easy way to compose mail to a list from the label.

Probably the easiest way is to open each email and add the sender to contacts. From there the person can create their own group right from the contact manager and then BCC the group.

If you have a lot of contacts this may sound like a lot of work but I'm sure there are several emails from each person so it would actually be clicking "add sender to contacts" X number of times.

Sorry I don't have a better solution but that's the best anyone can do with gmail.

Cheers,
Dan
