infected address

I had an old hotmail account that got infected. I tried every which way to clean it up but to no avail. So I finally closed it completely and have not used it in months. However, some of my contacts are still receiving emails from that address. What can I do to stop this?

Reply-to Address not working for everyone

I have a membership based website, and I use Gmail as an smtp server for users to email other users. When one user wants to email another user, they simply email from my website using the form, and the form then sends the message through gmail. The reply-to address contains the senders email. What I see happening, at least judging from the gmail box, is that some recipients respond to the smtp gmail address instead of the reply-to address. How does this happen, and does anybody know of a way to avoid this from happening in the future?

I've gotten 3 emails (usually sent in the wee hours of the morning) from my own yahoo email address to my own yahoo email address. There is always a hyperlink in the email and 1 out of 3 times it has ended up in my Spam folder. After the first 2 times (within 24 hours) I changed my password, hoping that would solve the issue, but ~ 2 wks later I got the 3rd one. Any suggestions on how to either report this to Yahoo or should I just bite the bullet and delete this email acct and start over.... ? Thanks!

I use Yahoo ATT email. On our website I have an email link for requesting to be added to our snail mail list. How can I add "Please include your name, address, and phone number." in the body of the email?

Btinternet have deleted my emails - outlook missing wap

I have a btinternet.com email address that I have used since the days when I received my broadband through BT. A year ago I changed my broadband supplier to Talktalk and kept my BT email address. At the begining of this month BT without any notice decided to delete all my past emails. Has anyone else experienced this? The BT helpline set up a link to Outlook so that copies of my current emails appear there however I can't print or resend any of these emails as I keep getting a WAP missing message. Can anyone help please.:rolleyes:

Hello, I'm being spammed from a website. in this format.

The first part is random company names, after the @ it's random letters (too prevent blocking it) then the .alwayslookyoung.com is static. I've tried contact alwayslookyoung with no luck.

Does anyone know how i would be able too block alwayslookyoung.com?

How to make Outlook Express your default email program

To make Outlook Express your default email program please follow these steps :

Close outlook express if it's already running.
Go to the Start button and select Run
Type "msimn /reg" in the run box and then press OK
Wait for 60 seconds while Windows makes some changes in the background (you won't see anything on the screen)
Start outlook express
Go to the Tools menu and select Options
Click the General tab
In the Default Messaging Programs section neat click Make Default button
Click Apply and then click OK

Set up email recipient from My Documents

I am unable to send a document from within My Document or Word to an email recipient. The option to send to email recipient is no longer there. How to I set up an email account to be linked to My Documents and word so I can send files to my email which is outlook.

I'd like to know if it is possible to use Gmail (Gapp) as a backup solution for existing email system? Users can send/receive emails on both Domino/Lotus Notes and Gmail.
If it is possible, what is the method to accomplish this?

How do i remove automatic response from my aol mail?

Login to AOL mail at http://mail.aol.com
Click on the Settings link
Click on Compose in the left side of your screen
Uncheck the check box Automatically add email addresses to Contacts
Click the Save button.

Check your Spam Settings. Do not add contacts to your address book unless you trust the sender. Click Settings -> Spam Settings -> Content Filter and make sure you have Block mail containing pictures or files set correctly.

I just opened up :25 SMTP and :110 POP3
