Missing Hotmail messages

Hi All,
I have several Hotmail accounts for various hobbies etc.

Having checked one earlier today as i'm expecting a reply from someone, I have found that there are several dozen missing messages dating back to September of last year.

The sent box also has missing messages dating back to the same month. No one else knows my password or has access to my pc, I have Norton Anti virus software with which I run scans regularly & I have no other email program or device that can access my messages, except for my iPhone, which incidentally still has the messages.

Where have they gone?? Could it be Hotmail, their server or something??

I monitor a business email address used for our services. I am now getting multiple emails from various businesses after I replied to first sender that I was letting the persons being mailed to that our business did not recommend their product and was not connected with them.
Questions: how can a person start using our email address without our permission to be sending out advertisements? the sender's address is:

I have an email account at yahoo.com. I am receiving SOME emails but not others. I'd appreciate some advice on how to proceed.
For example, two friends who sent me an email from the State of Alaska at almost the same time - one msg got through, another not. Later, I did get a message from the same friend whose first message did not get through.
I'm not sure how to give you the information you need, but here's an example:
One friend send me a msg from her acsalaska account, and five days later got this back which she forwarded to me at the same Yahoo email account which obviously worked THAT time:

How to create a filter that will block email from other members

To block an e-mail address or a domain :

1. Login to AOL Webmail at AOL Mail: Simple, Free, Fun
2. Click the settings link in the upper right of the screen
3. In the left panel click Spam Settings
4. Click the Sender Filter drop-down menu and then click Block mail from addresses I specify
5. Type the e-mail address or domain name that you want to block
6. Click the + button to add the e-mail address or domain name to the list.
7. Go to the bottom of the page and click Save.

To try and fix your computer you can reboot it and hit F8 while it is starting.

Scroll down the menu to the restore computer to an earlier time option and pick a date before you installed the service pack.

To retrieve an email that was accidentally marked as spam go to your spam folder and mark the email as "not spam".

When I've finished typing my e-mail and hit "send", Outlook will keep it in the Outbox for a few seconds before it is sent.
How can I keep my e-mails in the Outbox until I have hit Send/Recieve?
