Ask Reasons Why They Are Unsubscribing To Your Newsletter

One of the things that I have done over the years is to make sure I know the reasons why people are unsubscribing from my newsletter list.

I have to admit I get very few unsubscribes but when I do it is usually something that is correctable going forward. A few weeks ago I got an unsubscribe from a lady and her reason was she was not able to see very well anymore and the font was too small. Being that this particular list was based on an older demographic I went in and changed the font size of the whole website.

While this may not solve the one lady's problem my audience loves the new look on the site and participation is up on the site.

Some people may get mad when they get unsubscribes but I use it as a tool to further my sites.
